Having left her ancestral Istanbul yalı (waterside residence) many years ago, Tatiana receives a mysterious letter, drawing her back.
On the way to the Bosphorus, carrying an empty frame, she hopes to reunite it with a long-lost family heirloom, a Shahmaran painting.
Accompanied by the home’s current inhabitants, they all set out on a quest through the streets of the old city to locate the painting and restore it to its rightful frame.
